Blue hole in Dahab
Days of Excursion
Mon, Thurs & Fri
Description
The Blue Hole is a submarine sinkhole (a kind of cave), around 130 m deep. There is a shallow opening around 6 m deep, known as 'the saddle', opening out to the sea, and a 26 m long tunnel, known as the arch, the top of which lies at a depth of 56 m. The hole itself and the surrounding area has an abundance of coral and reef fish.
You will enjoy an afternoon of snorkelling, freshly cooked lunch in a sea front Taverna and a camel ride along the Gulf of Aqaba. Onto a Coloured Canyon where we will trek through one of the many walkways to experience the beautiful formed rocks within the Canyon, ending your trek by enjoying a cup of Bedouin tea with the Bedouins themselves.
Returning back through the rugged mountains on route to your hotel in Sharm.
